Dheeraj Gurusamy, a junior at Granada High in Livermore, took third in the boys 1,600 meters in 4:18.56 at the CIF North Coast Section Meet of Champions at Dublin High in Dublin, Calif. Gurusamy also placed eighth in the 3,200 in 9:29.90.
