Cooper Teare, a professional athlete representing Nike Bowerman Track Club, placed second in the men's 800 meters by a 1:47.62 to 1:47.63 margin against Texas junior Crayton Carrozza at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Teare clocked 3:34.96 to win the 1,500 meters in his outdoor season opener April 15 at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University.
